  • As the Senior Project Manager for Longview Senior Housing, one will be responsible for assisting in all phases of project planning and construction for projects ranging in size from $200,000-$10M. The appropriate candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, will have excellent organizational skills and will be able to demonstrate a history of competing projects on time and within budget.  Strong written and oral communication skills along with a commitment to build and maintain efficient teams are part of the overall requirements.

    As the Senior Project Manager, one is held accountable to, however not limited to, the following job functions: 

    • Work with SVP of Design and Construction to identify priority projects within the portfolio
    • As part of the management team, work with our operators and Longview team members to identify the appropriate scope of work for each project
    • Assist in identifying project team members including; Architects, Engineers, Interior Designers, General Contractors and other consultants as may be required
    • Assist in reviewing zoning, permitting and licensure requirements for each project
    • In partnership with SVP of Design and Construction, General Contractors and/or Construction Managers, develop conceptual budgets and schedules for each project
    • When required, participate in project Value Engineering efforts
    • Conduct site visits as necessary to meet with local contractors and stakeholders
    • Review contractor qualifications and provide input on potential General Contractor candidates
    • In coordination with SVP of Design and Construction, review all contractor bid packages and make recommendations for contract awards
    • Assist in the preparation and execution of construction contracts
    • Oversee and provide approvals for project scheduling, phasing plans, project staging, startup, and progress of the project
    • Conduct weekly meetings with project teams to track progress on all major projects. Maintain updated project tracking sheets and schedules
    • Review contractor change order requests, applications for payment, lien waivers and other documents required for payment processing
    • Coordinate the necessary communications with the on-site property management team
    • Verify that the quality of finished work meets expectations set forth within the executed contracts, company policy and procedures.
    • Review successful closeout procedures, documentation for completed project


    • 6-8 years’ construction management experience in multi-family and/or senior housing
    • MS Project, Excel, Word experience
    • This position will require a minimum of 50% travel
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
