  • Analyst - Compensation and Reporting

    Job Locations US-IL-Chicago
  • With a focus on exceptional service delivery to multiple Blackstone Real Estate Portfolio Companies, the Analyst – Compensation & Reporting will serve as subject matter expert for internal partners on compensation and reporting.  Key point of contact for People & Culture team on all broad-based compensation questions, issues and projects, including but not limited to:  job evaluations, salary surveys, and the annual merit/bonus process.  Responsible for reporting & data analysis to provide support to the People & Culture team and portfolio companies we support.  The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and resourceful.

    As the Analyst - Compensation and Reporting, one is held accountable to, however not limited to, the following job functions: 

    • Administer compensation policies and procedures, including all aspects of pay administration, including base pay, variable pay and equity compensation.
    • Provide data analysis, reporting and support for all portfolio companies, including employee turnover, headcount, gender, diversity, etc. 
    • Identify trends within people analytics reporting and provide insight to the People & Culture team and portfolio companies.
    • Complete compensation surveys and analyze market trends.
    • Implement and maintain competitive salary ranges.
    • Evaluate job positions, determining classification, exempt or non-exempt status, and salary.
    • Project manager for year-end compensation process for bonus and merit processing.
    • Identify and implement process and technology improvements to enhance functional effectiveness and maximize operational efficiency.
    • Audit data to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the all HRIS data.
    • Conduct Affirmative Action, Veterans, and OFCCP reporting.
    • Other job duties, as assigned.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree. 
    • 2+ years of experience in compensation and HRIS.
    • Ability to communicate both written and verbally with all levels within the organization.
    • Advanced level skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to be flexible in fast-paced, changing environments.
    • Collaborative open approach to work and team members.
    • Excellent people skills with a focus on solutions to deliver the best service possible.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information.
    • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time that are deadline driven. 

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience with Workday.
