  • Property Tax Analyst

  • Due to the continued growth of our organization, Revantage Corporate Services is seeking a Property Tax Analyst to join our growing team. The Analyst will perform independent research and analytical reviews in support of Property Tax Department. This individual will maintain client databases and Group administrative systems; ensures database and Group report integrity. Additionally, they will identify trends and exposures; communicate analysis results and action plans to the appropriate group member.  

    As the Property Tax Analyst, one is held accountable to, however not limited to, the following job functions:

    • Working under direction of senior staff, prepares information packages, gathers required reports, generates required authorization documents in efficient and timely manner. Monitors compliance requirements in conjunction with Senior Staff. Interacts with external tax consultants, attorneys, and appraisers as directed/required.
    • Performs analytical projects for the Property Tax Department including value, expense, and tax function processes.
    • Assists in personal property compliance administration. Provides materials to third-party service providers. Verifies all mandatory forms are filed accurately and timely by outsource service provider.
    • Assists with maintenance and creation of department performance reports.
    • Assists in assessment and financial information data entry; works with senior staff to ensure records are complete.
    • Requests and tracks all financial statements, rent rolls, etc. Reviews and coordinates financial reporting and data integration requirements.
    • Beginning to intermediate research projects, including subjects such as (but not limited to) title policy review, jurisdiction tax policies, property re-parceling and escalation research.
    • Assists with the preparation of property tax budgets, including jurisdictional research and expense analysis.
    • Maintains annual budget project plan at direction of senior staff. Assists with creation and review of property tax budgets. Assists with distribution and supports staff.
    • Assists in creating and updating records, etc. to reflect changes to portfolio (acquisitions and dispositions). Provides analysis and confirms record accuracy utilizing due diligence reports, closing materials, and other resources. Ensures proper acquisition and disposition procedures are met.
    • Assists with review of tax bill and invoice processing. Ensures that all tax bills are accounted for and processed timely. Responsibilities include variance identification and analysis for management. Confirms that special handling or payment applications are addressed. Assists with refund and consultant invoice management.
    • Communicates status of projects with appropriate documentation and performs follow-up until the projects are complete.



    • Bachelor’s degree in business related field (accounting or finance)
    • 3 + years business experience
    • Extensive Excel spreadsheet and Computer experience
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a group environment


    • Familiarity with real estate operations, legal documents and due diligence process associated with the acquisition and sale of properties
