  • Financial Analyst Intern (Summer 2020) - Link Industrial Properties

  • Financial Analyst Interns are hired for a 10-week immersive experience where they will be responsible for performing a myriad of ad-hoc analytical duties associated with operating a large and growing portfolio of industrial propertiesThis position is based out of Link’s office in Irvine, CA.


    Link Industrial Properties (“Link”) is a platform company owned by funds affiliated with Blackstone. Formed in 2019 through the operational combination of Gramercy Property Trust, Gateway Industrial Properties, and Talos Capital, Link currently manages a national platform of high-quality, well-located industrial assets of over 180 million square feet throughout the U.S.


    Our 2020 summer internship program will begin June 2020 and last through August 2020. To be eligible, you must be a college student during the time of the internship program. 


    • Assist with company-wide asset management and investment initiatives.
    • Perform various analyses including comparative lease analysis, lease restructure analysis, sale/leaseback analysis, and cash flow analyses related to underwriting of potential acquisitions.
    • Participate in the annual budget and quarterly reforecast process.
    • Assist with the preparation of presentations to the senior management team, as well as, preparing quarterly board presentations.
    • Review diligence materials and prepare closing statements.
    • Craft investment memoranda and other documentation to be shared with investment committee.
    • Conduct market research including rent and sales comparison research.


    • Current junior undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution (graduating 2021)
    • Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, real estate, economics or business with a finance/accounting concentration
    • Minimum GPA of 3.5
    • Strong interest in real estate and real estate asset management
    • Exceptional knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills since interaction with senior level management will be required
    • Ability to work in Irvine, CA in a full-time capacity for 10 weeks, beginning in June of 2020.
