  • Revantage Corporate Services, an affiliated company of Blackstone, was created in August 2017 to provide consultative services consisting of HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, Risk Management and Technology to real estate portfolio companies owned by Blackstone funds, in various sectors including multifamily (LivCor), commercial office (Equity Office), retail (ShopCore), hotel (BRE Hotels & Resorts), and industrial (Link).  As Revantage expands, we may provide services to additional Blackstone companies. 


    The Analyst - Valuations and Portfolio Reporting Support is responsible for supporting valuations and portfolio reporting, including portfolio analytics and property-level performance.  This role is the liaison with Blackstone’s asset management, portfolio management and finance teams as well as portfolio companies in order to support monthly and/or quarterly valuation processes.  Furthermore, this role works with external third parties to coordinate appraisals or facilitate valuation reviews. 


    Support Creation and Management of Investment Valuation Models

    1. Support the preparation of monthly and/or quarterly internal valuation support cycles together with Blackstone and the portfolio companies across various asset classes. 
    2. Manage and maintain robust excel cash flow models populated by source data.  Certain investment-level valuations are sourced via Argus Enterprise cash flows and it is the responsibility of the team that they are maintained and updated.
    3. Effectively obtain property-level information from various source systems or portfolio companies in order to routinely update cash flow models with actual leasing or changes in market leasing assumptions, other income, operating expenses or capital expenditures.
    4. Provide critical analysis of changes at the property- or investment-level in order to report on the cash-flow and valuation changes.  Investment-level valuation reports include cash flow analysis, capital market assumptions, equity calculations and other metrics in order to assess the current valuation of owned assets.
    5. Oversee the analysis of market conditions from sales comparables and other sources in order to drive assumptions and assess the value of the assets.
    6. Support the entire valuation reporting process with Blackstone stakeholders and revise valuation models based on feedback.
    7. Support the third-party appraisal, positive assurance and audit processes by providing data and responding to questions as they relate to valuations.
    8. Prepare presentations and property-level or investment-level analytics for Blackstone or portfolio companies. 
    9. Assist in ad hoc requests or special projects at the request of the department or at the request of Blackstone or portfolio companies.


    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a business-related field and 1+ years of real estate experience in related field required.
    • Real estate knowledge, including broad market fundamentals and financial cash flow modeling, required
    • Drive and desire to learn new technologies and grow technical and functional skill sets
    • Strong MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, skills required.
    • Argus Enterprise experience preferred
    • Experience with US GAAP and real estate accounting and/or management systems preferred
    • Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills necessary.
    • Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment

    Work Environment

    • Operates in a professional office environment
    • Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines

    Physical Demands

    • Position requires the ability to hear, talk and communicate in person and via phone daily
    • Position requires the ability to use hands/fingers to enter, retrieve and/or manipulate data using a computer keyboard.

    Position Type/Expected hours of Work

    • Position is full-time, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
    • Position requires accessibility outside of office hours via cell phone and email


    • Minimal out-of-the area and overnight travel may be expected.
