  • The People & Culture department, traditionally known as human resources, drives to deliver best in class experiences through every aspect of the employee life cycle.  We are seeking a People & Culture (P&C) Generalist is responsible performing a broad range of people and operational duties for two Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs).  The P&C Generalist will support HRBPs in executing people-related responsibilities and initiatives across LivCor, ShopCore and Revantage.  This position is based out of Revantage’s headquarters in Chicago, IL.


    Revantage Corporate Services was created in August 2017 to provide corporate services consisting of HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, Risk Management and Technology to real estate portfolio companies owned by Blackstone funds, in various sectors including multifamily (LivCor), commercial office (Equity Office), retail (ShopCore), hotel (BRE Hotels & Resorts), and industrial (Link).  As Revantage expands, it could provide services to additional Blackstone companies. 


    • Provide day-to-day operational support for assigned organizations
    • Serve as first point of contact for employee questions regarding company policies, practices and maintain employee handbook
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to open new roles; assist with job descriptions, market data requests and initiating recruitment
    • Support HRBPs in all aspects of the talent experience including talent management, compensation, performance management and goal setting
    • Assist HRBPs with coaching, employee relations, investigations, disciplinary actions and documentation
    • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the People and Culture team to develop solutions, programs and policies
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of employment laws related to day-to-day management of employees; partner with the legal department as needed/required
    • Manage company programs and internal trainings
    • Special projects as assigned


    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum three years generalist experience in Human Resources including employee relations, performance management and recruiting as well as application of employment law
    • Excellent knowledge of HRIS software and MS Office products
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with stakeholders


    • Human Resources Certification Preferred
