Why This Role Is Valuable  

The Senior Vice President, Operations will lead Revantage and their clients through infrastructure solutions, technology processes, and overall operational support. This position is based out of Revantage’s headquarters in Chicago, IL.  


The technology organization comprises a team of technology and data professionals focused on delivering solutions to improve decision-making, optimize internal business processes, increase operational efficiency, and transform data into actionable insights.  Our successful candidate will need to build strong relationships across the business and the IT organization in order to ensure the IT delivery teams are working in concert with the business to deliver superior service.

How You Add Value

Infrastructure Support

  • Plan, implement, manage, and control all infrastructure-related solutions
  • Responsible for development, maintenance and quality assurance support of hardware and infrastructure needs for Revantage and portfolio companies
  • Establish and foster strong relationships with various levels within Revantage and portfolio companies, while serving as the main point of contact for operational IT support
  • Lead automation efforts to minimize manual work and ensure transparency in all aspects of the IT infrastructure ecosystem
  • Support Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity planning, and testing
  • Develop strong relationships with vendors.  Be able to scope system requirements, provide cost estimations, negotiate with multiple vendors, and deliver competitive pricing alternatives
  • Meet Service Levels on system operations, performance, and customer service
  • Serve as a point of escalation to help resolve Client issues and serve as a bridge between the Client and Revantage for technology and issue resolution


Operational Support

  • Establish IT policies and best practices to best support internal team members, as well as our Clients
  • Lead changes and enhancements to operational and strategic planning
  • Participate in budgeting process to ensure service agreements, equipment contracts and all service support items are budgeted for renewals
  • Assess and evaluate technology options and solutions with clients and internal team
  • Ensure cost-effective delivery of IT services and capabilities to meet stakeholder business needs

What You Bring To The Role


  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 12 years of technology experience, including 5 years of people management experience
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships as a liaison between technology team and clients
  • Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts
  • Ability to leverage influencing and negotiation skills across IT and Revantage to enable cost-effective and innovative shared solutions
  • Proficient understanding of technical infrastructure, strong project management acumen, and excellent vendor management skills
  • Comprehensive platform and infrastructure technology literacy – the ability to describe technology concepts across business and technology stakeholders 
  • Deep experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and information strategies, including technology planning and execution and policy development and maintenance
