Why This Role Is Valuable

The Communications Coordinator contributes to the overall communications strategy, working closely with colleagues across Revantage and within the Portfolio Companies to drive communications and marketing efforts.

How You Add Value

  • Support fellow members of the Communications team on strategic communications and marketing initiatives, internally and externally
  • Help develop and maintain editorial calendars and manage corresponding messages and delivery
  • Serve as a copy editor for all major communications pieces, ensuring consistency of message and adherence to editorial standards
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information of company websites to maintain overall integrity, and generate new content, both written and visual
  • Help produce and edit content for internal and external communications, including: social media, intranet, newsletters, employee communications and presentations
  • Other duties as assigned by Head of Communications

What You Bring To The Role

Required:

  • 2022 graduate with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field
  • Excellent communication skills, writing and editing capabilities, strong attention to detail, and proofreading
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
  • Able to juggle multiple responsibilities, timelines, and deadlines
  • Knowledge of social media channels and analytics
  • Motivated self-starter, able to work independently
  • Creativity that results in effective content to represent and promote our brand internally and externally
  • Ability to produce concise, accurate, and professional messages
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency or working knowledge of all programs in Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred:

  • Graphic design experience
  • Experience in public relations, media relations, and crisis management
