Why This Role Is Valuable
The VP, Global Risk Management Data Analytics will be instrumental in assisting us in leveraging our scale in the insurance markets to optimize the Total Cost of Risk for Blackstone’s portfolio companies. This includes developing a thorough understanding of the actuarial and CAT modeling for the portfolio, as well as evaluating self-insurance, traditional insurance and capital markets risk management products and helping to determine the optimal mix. In addition, this person will help us to optimize between regional and global programs, as well as determine where separate programs make sense for different risk profiles. The person will work with our Claims team to create reporting for our TPAs and work with our TPAs to automate electronic data transmission. Finally, theis person will be the “owner” of our RMIS system and relationships with other third parties that we use to support our data enrichment and analytics needs.
