Why This Role Is Valuable  

This role provides technical support of the primary duties and responsibilities of the Vice President, Due Diligence – Engineering for acquisition, disposition, finance and asset management services. Coordinates technical vendor activities and supports Portfolio Companies and Blackstone Real Estate Services to achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Key project delivery focus areas include growth in scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management.  This position supports both Engineering and Environmental disciplines.

How You Add Value

  • Ensure project setup and ongoing status updates within DealPath, Microsoft Teams, FileStar, SharePoint, and other software platforms as appropriate for project tracking
  • Interface with IT teams for data aggregation and analytics surrounding due diligence services
  • Interact regularly with client(s) to ensure that goals and objectives are established and achieved
  • Develop and implement action plans to correct variances
  • Anticipate and respond to the client's needs and concerns
  • Support data collection needs on portfolios, liaising with team members and Vendors tracking status, preparation of summary matrices, and data extraction tasks
  • Vendor management activities related to contracts, work orders, invoicing, etc.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely, and complete reports to the client and company
  • Exhibit a growth mindset to develop skills to streamline processes, integrate teams, etc.
  • Support preparation of training materials for companywide distribution.
  • Review and technically edit review memoranda to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality
  • Ensure on-time delivery of reports and accompanying correspondence to clients
  • Communicate with clients and management to discuss and develop solutions to recognized architecture and engineering concerns during due diligence evaluation period
  • Support Revantage and companywide ESG initiatives at interface with engineering due diligence processes and document management
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients’ needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Role

Required:

  • Associates degree in general business or construction related field
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex instructions and project requirements. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues
  • Ability to write clearly and effectively to communicate with clients, vendors and team members
  • Knowledge of building construction, and real estate financial terms and principles a plus. Ability to understand calculations for ongoing capital reserve needs for real estate ownership
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires solid reasoning ability in support of analytical and quantitative review
  • Working knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite Products)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • The position requires simultaneously managing electronic deliverables for several ongoing assignments
  • Decisions made with growing understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results
  • Collaborate effectively with others, embodying the values that represent our culture.
  • Suggest new ideas proactively to improve or create processes to aid in growth of Revantage Due Diligence platform
  • Identify and solve existing and arising problems in an efficient and proactive manner

  • Perform work efficiently, independently prioritize tasks and collaborate with others

Preferred:

  • General understanding of business practices in a corporate setting a plus; project management experience with client management responsibilities
