We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master knowledgeable in Agile methodology to assist with planning, organizing, and controlling resources/processes to achieve project objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. The Scrum Master drives Agile frameworks that result in quality product delivery and continuous improvement. They embrace agility as a practice. The Scrum Master is responsible for removing impediments that hinder the team from reaching their goals and has a flexible approach that enables the team to rapidly respond to changes.

How You Add Value

  • Work with product managers to align teams with the product vision, sprint goals, and other necessary information
  • Pair with the development team to create high-value products within scope and deadline
  • Create an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions that resolve conflicts and protects from outside interruptions
  • Champion continuous improvement methods to reduce waste, decrease scope creep and increase productivity
  • Clearly communicate organizational impediments to leadership, clear those impediments directly for the team
  • Assist product managers in creation and maintenance of the product backlog, including quarterly planning on realistic standards based on resource allocation
  • Facilitate and lead all necessary scrum events (sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews/retrospectives, etc.)
  • Manage Agile release planning and formulate techniques for effective release backlog management
  • Coach the team in Agile relative estimation techniques, cross-functionality, and self-organization
  • Ensure transparency of the team’s work through the sprint backlog, burndown chart and other Agile metrics
  • Influence, coach, and advocate for the Agile scrum delivery methodology amongst both project team and client stakeholders

What You Bring To The Role


  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years hands-on scrum master experience in Agile setting
  • Experience working with Jira, ADO, or similar tool
  • Deep understanding of Agile development frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and evaluate business implications of analytics and product development work to the future business environment
  • Proven track record to pull together individuals of varying technical and business abilities with different goals and facilitate productive discussion and action
  • Strong written and verbal communication (including with non-technical audiences), conflict resolution, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrable understanding and reinforcement of the value of Agile approach and the required iteration events
  • Excellent facilitation skills and techniques



  • Agile software development skills
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Fintech and/or data management experience
