Why This Role Is Valuable  

The AVP, Learning Program Management will lead the design and delivery of programs for the Blackstone real estate portfolio companies we support. This highly visible role oversees program needs analysis, design, delivery and effectiveness of our multi-modal programs. Our AVP, Learning Program Management will lead programs that will allow us to attract and retain junior talent within the real estate ecosystem, increase brand awareness, develop a robust pipeline of talent, differentiate ourselves from competitors and increase the skills and capabilities of our analysts. This position is based out of Revantage’s headquarters in Chicago, IL.

How You Add Value

  • Demonstrate strong project management skills and a customer centric mindset
  • Rapidly evaluate and research training options and alternatives designed to meet the needs of the modern learner. Adept with a variety of multimedia learning platforms and delivery methods
  • Own and optimize program operations , including demand analysis, resources, faculty strategy, delivery management, communications, evaluation, reporting, and vendor relationships
  • Oversee the analysis of learner feedback and other data to promote continuous improvement of development solutions, consistently moving development to the next level
  • Execute with strong project management skills, including monitoring work-plans and managing against milestones, knowing what to prioritize and why, knowing who to keep informed, and when to escalate
  • Maintain and evolve delivery of programs and leverage best practices and future-focused innovations to recommend appropriate delivery mechanisms (e.g., live or virtual classroom, panels and fireside chats, social events, skills training and mentoring)
  • Create program budget balancing effectiveness and efficiencies to bring value to the business
  • Actively partner with portfolio companies, HRBPs and program sponsors to align on common priorities, leverage work, and provide leading-edge development solutions
  • Supervise the work of a Learning & Development coordinator who will support this program
  • Identify, construct and implement process improvements to promote operational effectiveness by leveraging offshoring, automation and centralization
  • Organize training content and materials and determine optimal layout, troubleshoot completion issues, and measure and report training effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with portfolio companies to share best practices and stay informed on new learning technology advancements

What You Bring To The Role

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, learning and development design and delivery training coordination,
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking to identify interdependencies between issues, data, and outcomes; clear understanding of how moving pieces come together to build the big picture 
  • Established track record for taking a consultative approach to delivering innovative learning programs with measurable business results that meet stakeholder needs
  • Significant program management experience in successfully planning, managing and delivering multiple, concurrent, and complex work streams in a matrixed organization with aggressive timelines
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills that build relationships at all levels across the organization with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build consensus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and present data-driven insights and trends.
  • Proven ability to communicate ideas and insights in person, virtually, and in writing, succinctly and with impact, understanding what is relevant vs. what is “noise” to the audience. Strong creative writing skills.
  • Comfort in a continually evolving, fast paced, and ambiguous environment requiring flexibility, innovation, and positive attitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:

  • Prior consulting or professional services experience
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
