Why This Role Is Valuable  

The People Operations Team Lead position is a leader on the People Operations team responsible for employee training, managing day-to-day employee workflow, process improvement, quality control and auditing.

How You Add Value

  • Oversee daily workflow to ensure employee questions/inquiries are answered promptly and accurately through the Neocase management system and People & Culture phone line
  • Manage temporary resources, providing training, performance management, coaching and feedback
  • Resolve escalated complex inquiries, as needed
  • Assist with implementation of larger project initiatives, such as onboarding of new employees through acquisitions, and mass employee data or job changes
  • Develop employee communications
  • Continuously review processes and identify areas for efficiency and accuracy improvement, propose process changes to AVP, People Operations, assist with implementation and change management
  • Onboarding and training of team members
  • Build and cultivate relationships with multiple Business Partners within the People & Culture department as well as outside departments such as Information Technology and Office Services
  • Oversee employee transaction processes:
    • Onboarding - review new hire data entry to ensure accuracy in the HR system, with oversight to pre-hire and Day 1 communications
    • Cross boarding - oversee memo process, ensuring accuracy of data entry of employee job, compensation, and manager changes or transfers
    • Offboarding – oversee termination process and data entry in the system
  • Audit severance cost calculations, severance agreements and packets
  • Provide coaching and answer questions for team members, as needed
  • Review exit and onboarding survey results and compile analysis for SLAs and report to P&C Business Partners on trends
  • Audit onboarding, cross-boarding, and offboarding documentation and process execution
  • Compile Neocase reporting, evaluate productivity, and identify trends for process improvement
  • Perform regular reporting and data analytics and disseminate to appropriate business stakeholders

What You Bring To The Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR-related position
  • Excellent people skills with a focus on solutions to deliver the best service possible
  • Self-motivated with the ability to be flexible in fast-paced, changing environments
  • Collaborative open approach to work and team members
  • Effectively manage change, conflict and ensure successful outcomes

Preferred:

  • HR Certification such as PHR
