Product management plays an essential, collaborative role driving technology outcomes in Blackstone’s real estate portfolio. You’ll build relationships, analyze business process and data, define the right problem to solve, and take ownership of product throughout our Agile development lifecycle. Working at the intersection of today’s challenges and tomorrow’s yet-to-be-defined solutions, your work furthers a vision to assemble the most competitive products and data platform for global leaders in real estate investing. Some of our current and past work includes:

  • An evolving framework and best practices deployed as a data platform across a global family of portfolio companies
  • Consolidated data sets that cover every real estate sector and market
  • Analytics products that uncover insight cited by Blackstone’s Chief Investment Strategist in “Market Views” to investors
  • Apps that manage collection and certification of timely, accurate data across the vast scale of Blackstone’s portfolio

How You Add Value

  • Represent our products and product team members by leading direct conversations with customers and subject matter experts
  • Engage deeply to understand our customers, their businesses, and the challenges they face
  • Participate in the consistent execution of our Agile product lifecycle from concept to launch
  • Discover, organize, and document solutions based on customer inputs and feedback, including acceptance criteria
  • Interpret data and assess opportunities for use in solving business problems
  • Organize product roadmaps and backlogs of work
  • Define epics, features, and stories in a system like Jira
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, architects, and other teams to bring specificity to our product definitions
  • Validate acceptance criteria for implemented solutions

What You Bring To The Role


  • Bachelor’s Degree with passion for technology or related experience
  • Demonstrated interest in business, institutional finance/private equity, and real estate
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in business analysis, product management, software engineering, or related roles
  • Experience with Agile principles (and methodologies like Scrum and Kanban)
  • Strong communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Hands-on with SQL, business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), cloud data products (e.g. Snowflake, Azure, AWS)
