Why This Role Is Valuable  

The Associate, Data Analyst will be primarily responsible for analyzing and managing organization’s data, helping stakeholders understand data, and detailing business requirements for solution buildouts. As part of the Revantage Product department, you’ll be a key part of a passionate team of Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Data Specialists that aims to develop the industry’s leading real estate data platform.

How You Add Value

  • Mine data from primary and secondary sources, organize data in a format that can be easily read by humans or machines
  • Interpret data sets, identifying trends, patterns relevant for diagnostics and predictive analytics efforts
  • Conduct requirements gathering and capture findings for development teams
  • Collaborate with business analysts, engineers, and other team members to deliver overall team outcomes
  • Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of data analysis process and replicate the analysis if necessary

What You Bring To The Role

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field 
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in business analysis
  • Experience with Agile principles (and methodologies like Scrum and Kanban)
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet technologies (such as Excel)
  • Proficiency with data analysis and data profiling using SQL
  • Fluency with programming languages (Python, R, Java, C#, Go, etc.)
  • Fluency in data formats & models (dimensional, data vault, hierarchies)
  • Basic understanding of datawarehousing concepts and terminologies
  • Experienced in working with engineering and cross functional teams to deliver digital products
  • Passion for solving real business problems with data-driven solutions 
  • Strong communication and ability to comprehend abstract user requirements and articulate data and technical concepts to wide audiences 
  • Team player and fast learner
