WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE

As a DevOps engineer, you will lead the way for Revantage's DevOps environment. The ideal engineer will bring their experiences, best practices, and a collaborative attitude to help drive our DevOps initiatives for the data programs. To be successful, one must effectively communicate with our development and operations team to orchestrate the creation of solutions that can scale. The responsibilities include building a process for automation as well as contributing to the development of internal tools to achieve operational efficiency.

HOW YOU ADD VALUE

  • As part of the team, you will be implementing infrastructure deployment pipelines 
  • Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency
  • Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments
  • Build and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions
  • Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring
  • Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
  • Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring
  • Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure /AWS 
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure as Code (IAC) - (ARM Templates, Terraform )
  • Hands-on Experience in Container-based development ( Docker and Kubernetes )  
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps and Automation 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with scripting and IAC languages to automate tasks.
  • Minimum of 2 years - Experience in PowerShell and Python
  • Experience in Monitoring Tools ( Azure Monitor, PagerDuty, DataDog ) 
  • Experience in SQL and Database Management Systems.
  • Experience in Code Analysis Tools like Sonar, Fortify

Preferred: 

  • Experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure DataBricks, and Data pipelines
  • Experience in Snowflake
  • Experience in Azure Active Directory and Azure Security 
  • Experience in Terraform
