WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
Reporting to the SVP ESG and working closely with Blackstone’s ESG team, you will be responsible for helping to drive sustainability strategies and initiatives across Blackstone’s Portfolio Companies. You will work directly with a diverse range of stakeholders including senior leadership within Revantage, Blackstone and across the Portfolio Companies. This is an exciting role, suitable for a seasoned professional with the knowledge, experience, and team attitude to put their stamp on a brand-new, global organisation.

Responsibilities

HOW YOU ADD VALUE

  • Support the Portfolio Companies in developing sustainability strategy, policy and execution, collaborating with stakeholders from the C-suite to local market teams, to achieve Blackstone’s Real Estate’s ESG targets
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Companies to develop and program manage 3-year ESG roadmaps, setting and reviewing short and long-term ESG-related goals and targets
  • Support the development of a standardized process for property-level energy improvement planning and implementation
  • Manage the development and implementation of projects in other areas of ESG including smart building technology, water efficiency, waste management, biodiversity, health & wellbeing, diversity & inclusion and community investment
  • Manage client relationships and provide industry insight and experience in the domains of sustainability and social development
  • Support external communication to investors and stakeholders as required

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, finance or technology
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Management Consulting, Sustainability, Strategy/Business Transformation, or Project & Process improvement
  • Proven experience and success leading and managing high-priority and high-visibility projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated aptitude for data analytics and process improvement ­­­­with exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and an instinct for what works for building programs across multiple Portfolio Companies
  • Team attitude and an energy and desire to lead, inspire, drive processes, and positively influence those around you
  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box to simplify complex metrics and information into easy-to-understand concepts, presentations, and updates for senior management
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills and experience in leading communications strategy
  • Understanding of sustainability concepts and frameworks, e.g., Greenhouse Gas Protocol, IPPC reports, TCFD, etc.
  • Real estate experience is a plus, or experience in a related field in a fast-paced environment
