WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE

Our Enterprise Risk Management intern is hired for a 10-week immersive experience that will provide a general overview of enterprise risk management as the team implements new capabilities to support and serve Blackstone’s Real Estate Portfolio Companies. Upon conclusion of the summer program, they will have a broad understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities of an enterprise risk management team and how we coordinate with internal colleagues. Summer interns are immediately a part of our collaborative culture and build enduring relationships with their fellow interns, manager, and assigned mentor. Summer interns also have the opportunity to network with various professionals through organized social events. Finally, each summer intern will work with an assigned mentor to complete a project and present their findings with other interns to the executive leadership team. This position is based out of Revantage’s headquarters in Chicago, IL.

Our 2024 summer internship program will begin June 2024 and last through August 2024. To be eligible, you must be a college student during the time of the internship program.

Responsibilities

HOW YOU ADD VALUE

  • Working across Revantage service lines (Technology, Finance, Legal, Insurance, People & Culture, Communications), the ERM intern will support the analysis, development, and implementation of Revantage’s ERM Program to identify, evaluate, control, mitigate, and monitor enterprise-wide risks (operational, reputation, strategic, information security/technology, data, financial, compliance, and third party)
  • Support the expansion of the Revantage North America risk culture and implement best practices across the organization
  • Conduct detailed Business Impact Analyses and further the Business Continuity Management lifecycle activities
  • Understand, cleanse, analyze, and report on data in LogicGate, the Governance, Risk, and Compliance tool

Qualifications

What You Bring To The Role

Required:

  • Current junior undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution (graduating 2025)
  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in an analytical field, where studies have focused on reasoning, questioning, and investigation
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
  • Desire to learn the functions of an enterprise risk management department and a strong ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in Chicago in a full-time capacity for 10 weeks, beginning in June of 2024
