Why This Role Is Valuable  

 

As a key leader on the People & Culture leadership team, the VP, Learning and Leadership will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of world class learning programs across Revantage and our portfolio company partners.  Our successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading and building exceptional learning teams, creating innovative learning strategies in a fast paced, high performing environment.  This individual will be an enterprise leader who has an agile leadership style and understands the power of building deep, long-lasting relationships to meet customer needs. This individual should be a creative problem-solver with a collaborative mindset and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. They should have a deep understanding of adult learning principles, and an ability to offer a learning strategy that aligns to the priorities and maturity of the customer. 

 

Responsibilities

 

How You Add Value

  • Learning Strategy: Develop and execute a clear learning and development strategy across Revantage and our portfolio company partners. Leveraging a consultative approach, ability to provide counsel that is inclusive and tailored to each company’s business objectives.
  • People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of learning and development professionals to execute the organization's L&D strategy effectively.
  • Leadership Development: Create and manage leadership development programs to develop high potential leaders throughout the organization.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Establish metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of learning and development initiatives. Continuously evaluate and improve programs based on feedback and data.
  • Training Programs: Design and implement training programs, both in-person and digital, to address skills gaps, enhance job performance, and support career development.
  • Content Development: Oversee the creation of engaging and effective learning content, including e-learning modules, videos, workshops, and training materials.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the learning and development budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.
  • Learning Technologies: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in learning and development and explore their integration into the organization's training programs.
  • Vendor Relationships: Collaborate with external vendors and consultants as needed for specialized training and development services.
  • Change Management: Drive a culture of continuous learning and adaptability, supporting employees in embracing change and innovation.

Qualifications

 

What You Bring To The Role

  • BA degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in learning and development, including leadership roles.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience leading high performing team of learning professionals
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful learning and development strategies and programs in a corporate setting.
  • Superior leadership and team management skills, with experience building and leading high performing teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools is a plus.
  • Hogan Assessment and Kaiser LVI certifications preferred, but not required
