WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE

The Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis will support the FP&A team in providing timely and actionable data to key stakeholders at Revantage, Blackstone, and its Portfolio companies. This individual will play a key role in supporting our annual forecast and budget process, be instrumental in reviewing and reporting on KPIs and assist with ad hoc requests as needed. We are looking for an FP&A professional with experience in aggregating and summarizing large data sets, a highly analytical individual with expert-level Excel skills and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

HOW YOU ADD VALUE

Client Service

  • Provide excellent customer service to corporate departments, portfolio companies and other business partners ensuring that their information needs and reporting requirements are met
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with departments and portfolio companies
  • Partner with management, departments, and portfolio companies to provide financial recommendations and solutions

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Aid in the annual budget and forecast process including preparing presentations for the Board of Directors and portfolio company executive teams
  • Assist with recurring and ad hoc variance analysis
  • Support tracking of expenses for ongoing projects
  • Identify areas of improvement to drive efficiency and assist in implementing changes to current processes
  • Assist in ad hoc requests or special projects at the request of Revantage, Blackstone or portfolio companies

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
  • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint (VBA, smartview/Essbase knowledge a plus)
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Driven, intrinsically motivated and eager to learn
  • Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative
  • Team player - energetic and enthusiastic

Preferred:

  • Experience in Real Estate
  • Anaplan
