WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compensation Manager - Long Term Incentive Program to join our organization. The Compensation Manager will be responsible for administering the company's long-term incentive programs. This role plays a crucial part in attracting and retaining top talent by ensuring our compensation and rewards strategies align with the organization's goals and objectives.

 

Responsibilities

HOW YOU ADD VALUE

  • Plan Administration: Oversee the day-to-day administration of the long-term incentive programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and fairness. Manage LTI award process through annual pay planning cycle. Manage cyclical and off-cycle vesting events, redemptions, and forfeitures. Manage monthly dividend equivalent payment process with various company payroll teams. Partner with payroll teams to record imputed income and ensure tax withholding for vesting events. Partner with transfer agent to set up employee accounts and deposit vested shares.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of program participants, grants, and equity-related transactions across multiple platforms, including core HCM system. Establish and implement data audits to ensure the highest data quality.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain business process documentation for all aspects of program administration and support processes.
  • Communication: Develop and implement communication strategy and materials to educate HR business partners and employees about the long-term incentive programs, including plan features, timelines, eligibility criteria, and performance metrics.
  • Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to employees regarding program eligibility, vesting schedules, and performance metrics. Address employee inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Reporting: Generate reports and analysis to assess the financial and operational aspects of long-term incentive programs. Present findings to senior management and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, including third-party administrators and consultants, including Blackstone’s transfer agent, to ensure the successful execution of the program.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with finance to ensure proper accounting and allocations for the long-term incentive programs and monitor program-related expenses.
  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations to ensure that the company's long-term incentive programs are compliant with local, state, and federal requirements. Consult the legal department for guidance as appropriate.
  • Performance Metrics: Track performance metrics and goals to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of long-term incentive programs on employee retention, motivation, and company performance.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in compensation, rewards, or HR with a focus on long-term incentive program management.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, equity-based compensation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in data maintenance in HR systems. Workday Advanced Compensation experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and presentation of findings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management and vendor management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills especially in excel.
