WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE

The AVP, People Technology role will oversee all aspects of Revantage's People Technology team, supporting over 1,400 employees nationwide. The AVP, People Technology will have responsibility in supporting our People & Culture Operations transformation and executing our People Technology vision. This role will have significant responsibility for leading the team to the successful launch of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM). Our Workday solution will encompass all HR domain areas including Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Timekeeping, Absence Management, Recruiting, Learning, and Talent. We are seeking a highly energetic, passionate leader who enjoys driving change and creating a positive, engaging experience, using technology, for our employees.

 

Responsibilities

HOW YOU ADD VALUE

 

  • Workday System Deployment: Leads People Technology team through all phases of the Workday HCM deployment project. Establishes internal processes for post go-live support and administration.
  • Workday System Administration: Manage and maintain the Workday HCM system, including configuring, customizing, and optimizing it to meet the organization's HR needs.
  • System Testing: Oversee and conduct testing, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure that Workday configurations meet business requirements.
  • Team Management: Provide guidance, coaching, and development to high performing teams of People Technology professionals.
  • Integration Management: Oversee the integration of Workday with other systems, such as payroll, time tracking, benefits, and third-party applications. Ensure data flows seamlessly between systems. Partner with IT and vendors to monitor integration statuses, implement changes as needed, and troubleshoot/resolve issues.
  • Security and Access Control: Define and implement security policies, user roles, and access controls to safeguard sensitive HR and financial data within the Workday system.
  • Business Process Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand and map business processes. Translates these requirements into system configurations and workflows. Design, configure, and maintain HR business processes within Workday, ensuring they align with the organization's needs and goals.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards within Workday to provide meaningful insights and data for decision-making and compliance reporting.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users. Create and maintain system documentation.
  • End-User Support: Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, helping them navigate and utilize the Workday system effectively. Troubleshoot and resolves system-related issues and works with Workday support or vendors for more complex problems.
  • Change Management: Implement and manage changes to the Workday system, working closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption. Lead team through all aspects of Workday update cycles: assesses impact of upcoming enhancements, ensures thorough testing of changes and that organization is ready for the updates.
  • Compliance and Data Security: Ensure Workday configurations and processes comply with relevant data privacy regulations and industry standards. Take measures to protect sensitive employee data.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field of study.
  • Minimum of seven years of professional experience in Human Resources.
  • Proven full-lifecycle Workday Human Capital Management implementation experience, or five more years of Workday HCM experience.
  • Three or more years of direct people management experience.
  • Basic working knowledge of relevant laws, internal policies and procedures that impact HR information.
  • Ability to assess and prioritize conflicting business needs, quickly resolve issues, and address root causes while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead by influence outside of hierarchy and build collaborative relationships within and outside of People & Culture (cross-functionally and with vendor partners).
  • Strong planning and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
