The Sr. Associate, Accounting is responsible for performing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including reconciliations, account analysis, and review of financial reports/support for Blackstone portfolio companies and Revantage. The role of AVP, Accounting, oversees all activities related to supervising and managing the investments owned by Blackstone, managed by various Blackstone portfolio companies, and held within the BREIT, BPP and BREP Funds. The role is responsible for overseeing a team for preparing, analyzing, and reporting on the financial and operating results of the investments at the asset level, investment level and a consolidated level. The Claims Specialist position will support the Risk Management department in the management of liability claims across North America. In addition to claims management, the candidate will utilize the Risk Management Information System (RMIS) to create meaningful metrics for various portfolio companies. The Associate, Corporate Finance manages the portfolio company relationship regarding corporate accounting services and Blackstone Real Estate portfolio companies. This role maintains the accounting records and general ledger for the corporate entities of certain Blackstone portfolio companies. You will prepare financial statements, monthly reconciliations, and budget to actual variance analysis. The Associate will also assist with the budget and reforecast process, calculate, and prepare expense allocations, and assist with the preparation of financial data for quarterly reporting – both for internal management, portfolio companies and Blackstone. The role of a manager in the Valuations & Portfolio Reporting function is responsible for managing valuations and portfolio reporting, including portfolio analytics and property-level performance. This role is the liaison with Blackstone’s asset management, portfolio management, and finance teams as well as portfolio companies in order to support the monthly and/or quarterly valuation processes. Furthermore, this role works with external third parties to coordinate appraisals or facilitate valuation reviews. The role requires oversight of a particular asset class or function within the department. The position will work closely with senior directors to continue to build out best practice and valuation and portfolio reporting support.
